My critique talk outline is at
http://2011.westcoastwikicon.org/wiki/Talk:Program -- I am hoping we
can get a vigorous debate on some of those topics going. Please let
me know if you want to participate in, or if you know anyone who might
want to participate in such a debate. I've offered to give a preview
talk a week or two in advance so that debate participants will have
the opportunity to respond to all the points I'll be raising, so I'd
like to know who is interested. If there are people from out of town
who are interested or too many people to conveniently schedule, I'll
just continue to edit the outline with further detail. Thank you!

Pharos has tasked me with trying to organize something for WP's 10th
birthday in the Los Angeles area.
Any suggestions?
My first thought is Philippe's in downtown, as that was one of the
suggestions for the canceled-due-to-apathy meetup in October, but according
to their web page http://www.philippes.com/ the private rooms are only
available on off-peak hours, and Saturday night counts as peak (I called to
confirm). In fact, being Saturday night it may difficult to get any place.
I'm thinking it's best to get some place that's conveniently located,
preferably accessible by public transit as well. LA is always difficult to
plan for because people are so spread out...
