Following the discussion on the Wiki Loves Africa Telegram Channel (https://t.me/joinchat/Smc82PP53yscNUIs)

It has been decided to extend the duration of Wiki Loves Africa till end of April.

So if you are late in starting, or late on closing, your team have another 2 weeks to fit communication and/or activities.

However, please note the following

1) we will not announce that publicly until a couple of days before April 15th. This was suggested by Summer and supported by others, to avoid the effect of "Nice, I have more time, let's procrastinate more !"

2) the site notice banner will stop running on April 15th as planned, to avoid user fatigue and respect the initial request made on the site notice request dashboard. As far as I can tell, we will have very little competition for the site notice early April, so the banner should be largely visible between 1-15th. However, it will not operate any more between 15th-30th.

Of course, we will continue mentions and promotion on the usual social media handles.
