I have no problem, personally, with the aims but the question is whether or how we would actually change ourselves so as not to be hypocritical. As discussed in our  recent journal meeting we have a slant towards certain types of people (UK,EU,USA, NZ and Australia), and I'm sure within those societies there is also a slant e.g. our volunteers in India are probably not from the Dalit class. Yes, of course there are exceptions e.g. I'm African-American and but that is probably anomalous. Maybe this should prompt more discussion.  Maybe we could have some kind of initiative to start Wikipedia in Residence positions in 3rd world countries and among certain historically marginalized groups in the first world? I'm just brainstorming. Feel free to tell me about how I've got this all wrong...

   in discrimination

to operate (e.g. map of journal editor locations <https://w.wiki/CWP>).
What do people think about endorsing it?
