A general remark: As this event is mainly targeted at very experienced community members (who have "recently received an Individual Engagement Grant, coordinated programs for a chapter or user group, or just launched a new WikiProject"), I think this may be a case where we could leave out the retweet from @wikipedia. I will RT from @wikiresearch though, because it might be of relevance for some researchers too.

Alternative suggestion
*T: What are the most edited articles about women scientists? Learn about research tools for such questions, on July 16
· t: Join @Capt_Swing for the first Beyond Wikimetrics meet-up on Wednesday, July 16, at 3pm UTC! https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/07/11/how-to-research-beyond-wikimetrics/
Doesn't really say what the meetup is about, or why one would want to join.
· t: Want to increase your wiki-research skills by accessing data directly? Join @WikiEval at Beyond WIkimetrics! https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/07/11/how-to-research-beyond-wikimetrics/
One typo (should read "Wikimetrics"), otherwise it LGTM.
· t: Want to learn MySQL basics, about community data resources, tools, and data from Wikimedia APIs? Learn how here: https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/07/11/how-to-research-beyond-wikimetrics/
Could work with some further editing, but in the current form it might attract too many people who simply want to learn MySQL in general....
· t: Think you know Wikimetrics? Think again. Join @Capt_Swin and @WikiEval July 16, 3pm UTC, for Beyond Wikimetrics: https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/07/11/how-to-research-beyond-wikimetrics/
Again, this is pretty opaque about the incentive to join, and also it creates the impression that this is for learning more about Wikimetrics, whereas I understand it's about alternative tools.
· f/g: "For learning & Evaluation, Wikimetrics is a powerful tool for pulling data for wiki project user cohorts, such as edit counts, pages created, bytes added or removed. Learn how to use this tool July 16, 3pm UTC, for the first of a three-part series, BeyondWikimetrics. https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/07/11/how-to-research-beyond-wikimetrics/
"learning & Evaluation" is an inside baseball term which doesn't convey that this is about evaluation of the impact of Wikimedia program activities.
· f/g: Whether you recently received an Individual Engagement Grant, coordinated programs for a chapter or user group, or just launched a new WikiProject, finding out how your initiative evolves might give you key information for success. Learn how to develop your wiki-research skills to optimize your program's performance with the first of a 3-part series, Beyond. Wikimetrics: https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/07/11/how-to-research-beyond-wikimetrics/
I would change the last sentence to "Learn how to develop your wiki-research skills to optimize your program's performance at this online meetup on July 16, the first of a 3-part series called 'Beyond Wikimetrics'." Otherwise fine.
