Huh. That's interesting. I don't have those connotations, having been on the periphery of the creation of groups like CrisisMappers, who fully embrace crowdsourcing as a term, though acknowledge its limitations. To each community, their own.

Stevie, you suggested it for @wikipedia, but note that we often post the more Wikimedia-focused stuff - i.e. not specifically about WP - from @wikimedia first, then retweet from @wikipedia. Which category do you think this falls under? (I haven't yet had time to look at the linked page myself, perhaps someone else on this list will.)
