Adventurer Sarah Outen has just completed a round-the-world rip under her own power.
She recorded her voice for Wikipedia and I've tweeted about this:
https://twitter.com/pigsonthewing/status/661536570508472320
Team @BBCNews mispronounce @sarahouten's name. If only they'd listened to her Wikipedia voice recording: http://bit.ly/1Wtx7ft #WikiVIP
Retweets appreciated, please.
Thanks Andy! I listened to the voice recording and it's a cool snippet. I think we should be a bit more clear and just say:
Adventurer Sarah Outen has just completed a round-the-world trip under her own power. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Outen
Does this look OK to other folks?

No. It does nothing to explain the benefits of the voice intro project ("#WikIVIP"), which was the purpose of my tweet.
Happy to look at a tweet explaining the benefits of the voice intro project, Andy.

Hi Andy,
I don't think it's appropriate for us to call out the BBC for mispronouncing her name, but perhaps we can find another way to show the value of the voice recording?

Then cut "on her Wikipedia page"?
We tweeted a lot about the project when it was most active in 2012-13, iirc.

It's a cool project, Andy. Can you help us craft a tweet and/or Facebook post for people who aren't familiar with it? Maybe with a link to a basic intro page?
