Maybe we could have some tweets pointing to the overall, multi-city page?
Keep in mind they aren't all on the same date. So maybe a couple this week and then one more in a week? and then maybe when new england tweets you can RT. (New England is more than a month after the rest)

OK, how about these (btw always feel free to already suggest a concrete text for the tweet, helps to speed things up):
*T: In the US? Meet Wikipedians at the Great American #Wiknic this weekend! Find out what is going on in your city: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wiknic
* Facebook message, geotargeted to the US (automatic excerpt: "The Great American Wiknic is an annnual..."):
Meet real life Wikipedians at the Great American Wiknic this weekend! Find out whether something is going on in your city, or organize your own: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wiknic

Can do Google too? Do they do geotargetting?

We could also include NL.

We may want a separate tweet for the NL Wiknic. It's not the Great American Wiknic in Eindhoven. ;-}

Actually I already posted these two...
Google+ doesn't support geotargeting. We can post with a message that indicates the geographical scope, like so:
Are you in the US or the Netherlands? Meet Wikipedians at the "Wiknic" this weekend! Find out what is going on in your city:
