Hi folks,
We just published an invitation to take our blog survey:
https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/02/27/blog-survey/
Here are some ideas for social media messages for this story:
Twitter (@wikimedia/@wikipedia):
* Did you know that @wikimedia has a blog? How can it best serve you? Please take our short survey. (link)
Facebook/Google+
• Did you know that Wikimedia has a blog? How can it best serve you? Please take our short survey. We plan to improve the blog’s contents and features in coming months, based on what you and others tell us. (link)
Feel free to tweak as needed.
Thanks for helping share this story with our community!
Fabrice

Michael,
It may be best to link directly to the survey, for maximum impact.
In that case, it would be great if you could use different URLs for each social media channel, as so:
Twitter:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/wikimedia-blog?c=twitter-wm
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/wikimedia-blog?c=twitter-wp
Facebook:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/wikimedia-blog?c=facebook
Googe+:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/wikimedia-blog?c=google-wm
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/wikimedia-blog?c=google-wp
Thanks!
Fabrice

Hi Michael,
Since we haven’t shared this yet, here’s some alternate wording to consider:
What do you think of the Wikimedia Blog? How could we improve it? Take our short survey: (link)
Help us improve the Wikimedia Blog. How can it serve you better? Take our short survey: (link)
Since we share blog posts frequently on social media, I think it’s OK to ask them directly what they think about it. My earlier proposal (‘Did you know that Wikimedia has a blog?’) was a bit too timid and doesn’t seem as effective as these new message ideas.
BTW, I’m looking at survey results and seeing that a lot of folks are asking to be notified, and that Facebook and Twitter are some of their favorite notification methods, along with a blog mailing list.
Also, I think we can wait until Monday or Tuesday to share these messages, as I’m sure you have other plans on this nice sunny day :)
Have a wonderful weekend,
Fabrice
