Steven's look fine, but I can't see how an ED search tweet is going to be useful at all. If we're going to push that on social media, let's push the original blog post again, not a link a jobvite.

Not insisting on the Jobvite tweet, but linking the original blog (https://blog.wikimedia.org/2013/05/21/search-for-next-wikimedia-foundation-e... ) without context about the renewed search efforts would make no sense at all - it's just too outdated. Let's leave it then.

Yeah... I guess I feel like if we're going to try to re-promote the ED search on social media, an updated blog post might be useful. I think a Jobvite link without context (especially a retweet of a staff person -- like if we were retweeting Jan-Bart as head of the search committee it might be different) seems rather off-tone. But maybe it's just me. :)

Not to get too deeply into this specific example (I see your point about Jan-Bart), but in general I think RTs are valuable in filing gaps where we at WMF don't have the capacity to put out a polished, official communication/announcement. So for example in this case the extension of the ED search was announced in form of a updated timeline on Meta last month, but it's likely going to take a bit until e.g. a new blog post goes out about this. So some kind of low level social media signal that the position is still open can have value.
These LGTM. I'll take care of it, Tilman - thanks

From @Wikimedia. Perhaps not as widely appealing as our usual RT's, but thought it might be worth it:
Yes, it's quite local, but why not.
While we are at it, these two should also be worthwhile from @wikimedia: https://twitter.com/nypl_labs/status/463309733446037504 https://twitter.com/MoizSyed/status/463003946340986880

Hi all,
I don't know if this one would have global appeal?

OK, it's not quite Wikimedia-specific (even if the post does mention Commons at some point). But it looks like it might be a great resource for Commons, and of course it's good news for free knowledge in general. I retweeted yours from @wikicommons and @wikimedia .

It looks like there were some initial questions about that editathon, which however were satisfactorily answered: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Jimbo_Wales#Possible_COI_with_an_upc...
So a RT shouldn't be a problem here, although in general I would say that this kind of even is too local and specific to be worth the effort of looking into who the organizers are etc. to find out whether it's something that we want to highlight on Twitter or not.
Not sure if there is a better tweet (doesn't look like Andre is on twitter so not one from him personally) but:
https://twitter.com/StevenWalling/status/468516955536646144 or a fresh one we write is a good option. Pointing to a blog by andre kapper (bugmeister) about why we're moving away to Pharbricator http://blogs.gnome.org/aklapper/2014/05/19/wikimedia-phabricator/
For sending or retweeting from @WIkimedia?
