I think I heard that someone was writing guidelines for WMF blog posts. This seems like a reasonable guide so perhaps you could add it as a "see also" link in the WMF guideline document:

I have no personal or professional relationship with the author or the publisher of that piece. If anyone has better suggestions or differing opinions I'd like to hear them!
Thanks, Pine
This is the social media list.

I thought blog posts are considered part of social media. Is that not true? I don't know how Comms divides up its responsibilities, and responsibilities change inside of WMF all the time without my hearing about them, so clarification is welcome.

Sorry, that sent earlier than I had hoped :)
This list is for social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc). The blog currently doesn't have an email address of its own (there's a Phab ticket for that), but suggestions should be sent to Ed Erhart, our Editorial Associate, and/or Jeff Elder, our Digital Communications Manager.
Sorry for the curtness!
Joe

OK. I'd like to see that blog list come into existence if public discussion of blog-related issues is off-topic for the social media list, because affiliates have our own blogs and it would be nice if we have a place where we can discuss them and blogging best practices in public.
