After some discussion on phabricator https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T91633, it was decided to create http://www.whatcanidoforwikimedia.org/ to help promote public contribution to the Wikimedia projects.
Obviously, a project such as this needs as much publicity as possible to get the ball rolling. Would it be possible to have a mention on the Wikimedia social media outlets?
