I had the same thought, for better or worse I feel like it's less commercial and more inclusive that we're talking about something on the "fringe" of the hyped topic (a fact about the character in the comic book that loosely inspired the show without actually mentioning the show itself). It's sorta an "in character" way to do something related to a trend. Of course I would say that as a Wikipedian who found that fact about 2 minutes and 3 clicks into looking up the show ;) but if others disagreed I don't mind much :)

First of all: Thanks guys! We have Nellie Bly already teed up, and will add the others to the mix. I am 60-40 for doing Lucifer, because I also find it interesting. But I need to ask: Would it seem weird for us to tweet about a character in a much-hyped new TV show? I'm asking.

Just because it was a bit confusing :) Maybe because you say "writer" which is true, but doesn't translate well to his creation of a comic book character.
