It is interesting because I've never got those connotations from "crowd-sourcing" either. To me it sounds a bit more magnetic and charming!

Stevie, you suggested it for @wikipedia, but note that we often post the more Wikimedia-focused stuff - i.e. not specifically about WP - from @wikimedia first, then retweet from @wikipedia.
