Unsure if this was posted already, I think it would be perhaps better to emphasize why he got the peace prize.
On this day in 1964, the Rev. Martin Luther King received Nobel Peace Prize https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobel_Peace_Prize for his human rights work in "combating racial inequality through nonviolence." In this public domain image from Wikimedia Commons, he waves to the crowd from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C., where he delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech.
* I put quotes around the part I got from his Wikipedia page the Nobel Peace prize page. In social media, I would add the hashtags #MLK #humanrights and a link to his page. Perhaps mention the Nobel peace prize FB page if you wish.
