I do like including "public policy" as that will attract a particular interested group.
Maybe: "Wikimedia public policy - imaging a world where everyone can freely access, share, create, and remix knowledge https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/09/02/new-wikimedia-public-policy-site

We just published "Launching the Wikimedia Public Policy site" to the blog. URL:

Many thanks to Stephen and Yana for this post.
Below are some proposed social media messages. Please tweak as needed.
Twitter (@wikimedia): • Learn about Wikimedia's public policy on our newly launched site https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/09/02/new-wikimedia-public-policy-site/
I'm fine with this but wonder if it comes across more that we should be linking directly to the new site? (rather then a blog post about it). Perhaps something more leading/obtuse but maybe click grabby? (why not when you can right? haha)
Imagine a world where everyone can freely access, share, create, and remix knowledge https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/09/02/new-wikimedia-public-policy-site/
Oh I'd RT from @Wikipedia too :).
Facebook/Google+: • "Public policy is vital for a world where everyone can freely access, share, create, and remix knowledge." https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/09/02/new-wikimedia-public-policy-site/
thanks, Joe
