Bank Holidays in the UK are very weird. It's only a bank holiday in Scotland and, since a lot of our banks are English, not all of them actually close for it!

none from me :)
(also TIL from the article that you can have a bank holiday "banks are not required to close and employers are not required to give their employees the day off as a holiday." before this I just thought that requiring the banks to close was the DEFINITION of a bank holiday ;) regardless Happy St. Andrew's day to all those in countries who celebrate (the only one I know on the list being Joe :) ).

Thanks Joe!
St. Andrew's Day is more time-sensitive than the other proposals, so I'll go ahead and get that out now if there are no objections on the list.

LGTM, but watch to proofread these before you post them (there are some spaces missing etc.).
Another, since it's Saint Andrew's Day today: • Saint Andrew is the patron saint of seven countries, including Scotland, Romania, and Russia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Andrew%27s_Day • Happy St. Andrew's Day, a public holiday in Scotland since 2006 and Romania since 2015. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Andrew%27s_Day
Context: Facebook used the Romanian flag for St. Andrew's Day, so "Romania" is now trending in the UK alongside this fact
