No good reason that I know of to have two, if I remember correctly this is a consequence of the silliness of the youtube/google+ mergers and so connecting the Google+ account (which is verified and why it carries over to youtube) and our old, youtube only, account is what we want to do. I remember looking into this a couple years ago and discovering that it was not something I had time to do (and at least at the time was not something that could be done by use, we had to talk to YouTube and try to convince them to do it) but it is probably something that would be good to get done.

Hi,
Today i was searching in Youtube and found that there are two channels of Wikimedia Foundation (the links are following). The channel which has a verified link (the first link) has only a few videos and the other channel has user friendly URL and more videos. Can anyone tell why there are two channels and which one should i follow?
