Hello social media friends,
We’d love to hear what you think of the Wikimedia Blog, so we can improve it to better serve you and our movement. :)
Could you please take this short survey, if you haven’t already?
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/wikimedia-blog?c=email-soc
The survey ends tomorrow. Your feedback will help improve the blog — and inform our editorial strategy for WMF communications.
We would also be grateful if you would invite others in your community to take the survey, so we get more responses from diverse perspectives.
We will post survey results at the end of March, both on the blog and on Meta.
Thanks for sharing your feedback!
Fabrice

Hi Everyone,
What do we think about sharing this morning's HuffPost Live interview
featuring Michelle Paulson and an ACLU lawyer? I think it gives a nice
overview of the case.

Hello social media team,
We just published 'Gender as a text field' on the blog:
https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/03/09/gender-as-a-text-field/
Many thanks to Amanda for writing this post, to Siko for recommending it and to Andrew for publishing it. Great teamwork! :)
Here are proposed social media messages for this story:
Twitter (@wikimedia/@wikipedia):
Gender as a text field: What Wikipedia can learn from Facebook about gender identification. (link) #genderdiversity

Gender as a text field: What Wikipedia can learn from Facebook about gender identification. We are more than our sex and more than our gender, and many users want more nuanced options for identifying themselves online. (link)
Comments welcome for tweaking the final message.

Hi everyone,
So, I have a question. How do we respond to these types of questions on
social media? I have a tweet from Diplo's
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Editing#Policies_and_conventions> account
asking for helping editing the English Wikipedia article on his other
project, Major Lazor <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_Lazer>.
Can we just tweet from @wikipedia the "Help:Editing" page? Or tweet for
his to write on the article's talk page requesting the change for the
article's photo?
Thoughts?
