I'm in a lecture at the moment (because when I go back to school for reunion i somehow get talked into a lecture ;) ) about the study of the Beatles and they just mentioned some anniversaries I thought could be interesting for quick tweets.
Today (October 9) is both the 50th anniversary of the Beatles song Yesterday first hitting #1 in the US ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yesterday_(Beatles_song) ) as well as John Lennon's 75th birthday ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Lennon ).
Random draft (John Lennon is an FA and trending so probably best article to use):
Happy 75th birthday John Lennon and congratulations on the 50th anniversary of Yesterday hitting #1 in the US https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Lennon

They were nominated for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame today. Might be a good
excuse for a tweet.
Also N.W.A, Nine Inch Nails, and Yes.

Oskar Schindler, subject of the film "Schindler's List," died on this day
in 1974. I found it interesting to read about the real person, having seen
the movie. Should we do social posts linking to his article page?
