Hi all
I was asked by my chapter to promote Wikimedia Poland using Diaspora
network. Apparently it is quite popular among people related to open
education in Poland and it might be a good idea to try to reach to them
using this site.
I'm not very familiar with Diaspora so I would really appreciate some
advice on that. Does anyone here have any experience with using this
network to promote Wikimedia projects? Did you find it useful or not
really? Are there any tips or/and stories you would like to share?

This article is about a memorable short story by Arthur C. Clarke. Perhaps,
after some expansion (there likely be an interval of weeks or months before
I do it, although others are welcome to help themselves), the article would
be good for the Wikipedia Facebook page. What do you think?

Hi Jeff and other friends at WMF,
The Odia Wiktionary is turning 11 on this June 16. The community
is organizing an online campaign so that each Wikimedian in the larger
community will create at least one entry. Here is the event page:
https://or.wiktionary.org/s/o4n
Can you please help spread the word on Twitter and Facebook in about 21
hours from now (considering the time difference between SF and here in
India, that would be the perfect time to catch one's attention)?
There is no Twitter/Faceook presence of Wiktionary but feel free to tag the
community's flagship project Odia Wikipedia (@odiawiki on Twitter and
Fb.com/odiawiki on Facebook)
Thanks in advance,
Subha
