Thanks, Quim. On Tuesday, I also gave Rachel access to the MediaWiki
page on Facebook.
Rachel and Chip: Welcome :) If you're planning to post content from
these social media accounts, I recommend that you subscribe to the
social-media mailing list, used for coordination while posting from
official accounts (like Wikipedia, Wikimedia and MediaWiki):
https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/social-media
We use a four-eye principle principle when it comes from posting from
official accounts: due to the high number of followers, we send
proposed postings to the list, and send them only after another member
of the team has approved them (or "LGTMed" them, for "Looks good to
me"). Whenever possible, we also post them at
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Social_media/Calendar and do the
review there.
Let me or the list know if you have any questions :)

Over 1 million 'likes' later, the Wikipedia Facebook page has been verified
by Facebook - also known as the 'little blue check-mark'. Thought I'd share
