Hey folks,
Michael Tsikerdekis posted about his study on the Village Pump (Misc) ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_(miscellaneous)#FYI:_I.2...), but there have been no responses thus far. I'm worried that the posting won't be considered sufficient notification by Wikipedians who get upset later due to the lack of any discussion on enwiki.
Thoughts?

Hi Aaron,
glad you flag this as it's an example of the typical problem we hit with SR announcements: no matter how long/how deeply a proposal has been reviewed (and this one went through a pretty extensive review – thanks to all who participated!) there is a risk that we won't be able to pitch a proposal previously reviewed by RCOM to sufficiently visible community fora.
To me this is yet another argument in support of the alternative SR approach we discussed during the last meeting (individual opt-in/opt-out), but I'd like to hear if others have any thoughts on how to increase the community visibility of the existing notifications while we explore alternative models.
