I would like to have a brief meeting Wednesday about the newsletter, to discuss final updates to the content of the first newsletter, how to publish partial translations on the official foundation site, and how to proceed towards email distribution and print publication.
Right now, the best meeting time seems to be 1400 UTC on IRC (#quarto, on freenode). A transcript will also be published online. If you can't make this time, but want to be involved, feel free to comment on the agenda beforehand : http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk%3AWikimedia_Quarto#IRC_meeting
Please mention this to others in your projects who might be interested.

Hi,
I will be avail for this meeting. On saturday, we will have a board meeting, and I added Wikimedia Quarto to the list of topics to mention (though there are so many topics to discuss, I am getting a bit worried :-)).
I'd like to have a bit of information by then over print publication so we can move on on this topic.
Cheers.

I will probably not attend, so here are my comments:
Corrections: Yeah, still needs some. I haven't read the EN version completely yet, but I guess that I can do it this weekend. When is the release date?
Publishing partially finished versions: Nah, never release an unfinished product.
Online distribution: I was wondering how would you distribute it, would it be incorporated inside the foundation wiki or as a single HTML? See http://xwsgroup.com/~joseph/Wikipedia/newsletter/2004/september.php for an example.
E-mail distribution: Pretty easy, either plaintext or HTML version, and choose in which language you want it to be sent.
Snail mail: *shrug* I don't consider it to be a priority right now.
Layout and proofreading for print: I'm really concerned about using small fonts, and unnecessary images. The WC3 tips and recommendations are a great resource (http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/)

Hmmmm, just as Wikipedia ? ;-)
I noted your points. Several versions are already incorporated on the foundation site. All other versions (html, pdf, print) are to be discussed.
Thanks for your help with the translation :-)
