Okay, I hope everything is going on well for everyone. I noticed several editors joined the new list, so all is well.
I started mentionning the new adresse to french editors.
It came to my mind that we could announce at the same time this new list, the new news template on the foundation... and remind everyone of translation request at the same time.

The right place on meta to publicize that would be

Translation of the Week is specifically for a
minor and under-noticed
article on some project, not for general
translations.
Aphaia, it would be nice to have a generic blurb
of the form:
"Please help improve communication among
projects.
The Project Name project
with the goal of Goal,
needs translation help:
you can help
here."
We could then have people translate Project Name
and Goal for each new
mutlilingual project, add in the right URLs, and
quickly produce a
"please help" blurb that Cormar, or anyone, could
distribute to each
project's Village Pump...
