Initial Comment: Can we have an undo option for the replace.py where it reads the last logs from the logfile, goes back to the last command and reverses it?

What do you mean by 'reversing'? Loading the previous version from the version history, then rolling back to it? Then what you would get is not an undo script for replace.py, but a multi-purpose tool which could also be used for vandal-fighting etc. (isn't there something like that already?)
