Initial Comment: I was running my script in a virtual console, so I can't copy/paste the stack dump here. However, it was, roughly :

Warning! len(text) does not match content-length: 9789 != 13259 Traceback: page.get() in my script -> wikipedia.py:607 -> wikipedia.py:656 -> wikipedia.py:4038 : "self.conn.close()" AttributeError: 'Site' object has no attribute 'conn'

This came from the old persistant_http config, a patch is included.
