I know a clear installation worked, but that looked like you didn't update the `pywikibot/family.py` file.

And the first traceback indicates that `pywikibot.comms.threadedhttp` wasn't updated, because I'm pretty certain that tests would've failed immediately if the first bug were actually in there. Maybe on a previous update you accidentally moved the contents into the wrong directory and it only updated half? Although it looks like `pywikibot.comms.http` got updated and that is in the same directory as `threadedhttp`. The second one is also related to a `http` module which is newer than other files, so maybe it was the other way around that only `http` was updated.

Okay that is indeed then strange behavior, but I'm not sure what “SVN Update” actually does. Maybe it doesn't change files which are currently write protected or so. But even then why should threadedhttp.py and site.py be write protected.
