Web browser: --- Bug ID: 58601 Summary: casechecker.py uses non-standard functions Product: Pywikibot Version: core (2.0) Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: Unprioritized Component: General Assignee: Pywikipedia-bugs@lists.wikimedia.org Reporter: valhallasw@arctus.nl Classification: Unclassified Mobile Platform: ---
casechecker.py: - calls the API directly instead of going through Page or Site objects; - has it's own colorizing code - has it's own logging/output layer
It should really be rewritten to work using the normal pywikibot functions...

--- Comment #1 from xqt info@gno.de --- code is still in review: gerrit 101609

--- Comment #2 from Merlijn van Deen valhallasw@arctus.nl --- Yes, but I don't think this is something we should fix in the initial commit -- that's too much work for a GCI student and the script is useful even when it's not perfect.

--- Comment #3 from xqt info@gno.de --- IC and agree. Perhaps I find a bit time next weekend during a long installation process.
