Initial Comment: Hello,
interwiki.py does not detect redirects in it.wikipedia. I guess that the magic word 'RINVIA' (and probably 'RINVIO') are not detected as the local names for redirects.
As far as I see, this entry in the family.py file could be the problem
redirect = { [...] # 'it': magic words "RINVIA" and "RINVIO" appear in the MediaWiki # source code, BUT DO NOT WORK
Also this http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2792974&gro... bug could have to do something with it, but I do not know what.
At the moment bots are adding interwikis to redirects. For example: http://it.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Georgii_Voronoi&diff=prev&...
I do not know or understand why these magic words are not supported. For me they do work.
Thanks,
Nyoman
