Summary: getVersionHistory misses out current revision
Initial Comment:
Pywikipedia nightly:pywikipedia (r7143, 2009/08/11, 16:35:49)
Python 2.5.2 (r252:60911, Jan 4 2009, 17:40:26)
[GCC 4.3.2]
MediaWiki 1.15.0 with German language setting
The regex in getVersionHistory doesn't capture the current revision of the page. Intermediate output of all finds of the editR variable shows that the most recent edit is not contained, so I suppose the regex in wikipedia.py:2280+ is broken.

Message:
Yes that's right, I just verified it and it only misses "minor edits"
Is it possible to make getVersionHistory include them? Otherwise I think
it should be included in the documentation.

Summary: Allowing xmlreader to read from stdin
Initial Comment:
XML dumps are huge and distributed in 7zip format now. This very small patch allows dumps to be read from the standard input using '-' as file name.

>Comment By: Merlijn S. van Deen (valhallasw)
Date: 2009-08-11 13:45
Message:
I never see the point of programs adding '-' as magic filename. Unix has
/dev/stdin, dos/windows have CON. Secondly, it is probably better to use an
internal 7zip decompressor, as pipes tend to be slow.

Summary: Wikia Helper and Staff rights
Initial Comment:
Please add Wikia Helper and Staff rights (that are same as sysops) to the pywikipedia. http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Special:ListGroupRights
This way we don't have to make ourselves admin then use the bot. The bot would understand that helpers and staffs are same as sysops.
Thanks!

Summary: Namespace correction
Initial Comment:
Hello, It would be fine while doing nonautonomously interwiki in another namespace (mainly in category) when bot find interwiki to anoter namespace
NOTE: en:Category:Foo is in namespace 14, but de:Foo is in namespace 0. follow it anyway? (Y/N)
to add new option nameSpace, which means bot to try find de:CATEGORY:Foo in the correct namespace

I would reject this request as crossnamespace does this.

Summary: interwikidump -*.txt not cleaned
Initial Comment:
Shouldn't interwikidump files be cleaned (reset to zero) after a run with -restore option?

I mean when a session with -restore option is successfully finished, i.e.
all pages contained in dump file have been processed. What's the reason for
keeping them anyway? It would be logical to erase the dump if all work is
restored.

No.
When interwiki.py is stopped during a run, it dumps the^set of pages it
was working on, to continue the work later on. And -restore allows that.
This bug report is invalid ^^

Summary: Bot changed first char in one link to lower case
Initial Comment:
Using svn, revision 5100
When running the script fixing_redirects.py on Index:MAN on the gentoo wiki, it did this incorrect change:
- *sysctl
+ *sysctl
It should have been:
+ *sysctl
The change can be seen here:
http://gentoo-wiki.com/index.php?title=Index:MAN&curid=611&diff=127403&oldi…
I have cosmetic changed enabled, so it could be that code that is broken.

Please provide the entire traceback that was printed with the exception.
It doesn't do much good to luck at the source code of your bot if we don't
know which line caused the exception.
