Summary: Trial feature
Initial Comment:
A -trial:# parameter that would limit to a certain amount of edits. For example, -trial:25 would limit you to 25 edits, then quit.

Summary: replace.py -match option
Initial Comment:
Hello! It would be nice, if you add -match option to replace.py, that means that script will work only on pages which match some regexp.

How would this be different than the "-regex" option that already exists?

Summary: create library for diffs, expand userlib
Initial Comment:
Add a new library, editlib, for parsing diffs. It will parse the diff html page, extracting info like editor, time, edit summary, etc, and creating lists of the lines and words marked as added and deleted. More details can be found in the docstrings.
For use with editlib, some new functions are also added to userlib. These will get the user's registration date, the number of edits the user has made, and the number of vandalism warnings on the user's talk page.
Only Wikipedia:en is supported - some of the regular expressions rely on English text. Within that scope, I've done reasonably thorough testing on the editlib functions, and somewhat less thorough testing on the new functions for userlib.
All of this is designed for use with automated vandalism detection. I am working on a bot to do just that - User:Kalbot - but it's still in an early experimental stage. I am User:DKalkin on the English Wikipedia, and can be reached at dkalkin(a)gmail.com.
This is the first time I've submitted a patch to any sourceforge project. Apologies if I've screwed anything up.

Summary: interwiki.py *has* to append <noinclude> without whitespaces
Initial Comment:
interwiki.py *has* to append <noinclude> without any whitespace/line break!
Please put it always close to the last character ("bla.<noinclude>\n...\n...").
Example:
http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Polytonisch&diff=prev&ol…
... resulted in a total mess!

Summary: Language loading order
Initial Comment:
There is something different in interwiki: for long time was order of loading pages from wikis (when working on only one page) hints first and then other languages in order that was loaded from page. eg lt first, en somewhere in the middle and de,da,uk,bg at the end. When some new link ewas found, it was loaded in the end (if there wsn't another link to the same language)
Now are pages loaded in different order, including hinted pages somewhere in the middle.
Please, correct it

Summary: A bot to import missing images
Initial Comment:
I have hundreds of articles with missing images. I'm looking for an existing bot that will scan the articles for missing images, then import these images.
Is there such a bot? If not, are there bots that can hanle the subtasks of it: (1) Scan articles and generate a list of missing images. (2) import images in a list.
If this is the wrong place to post the question/request, please guide to the write place.

I tried to tweak Missing_Images tool. The problem with it is that it deals
with the same database for both the origin project and the destination
project. While in my case I need to import images from remote Wikipedia DB
into my local (non-wikipedia) MediaWiki installation.
Is this the right forum for asking the question?
I'm willing to contract this job, suggestions will be appreciated.

Sounds good, this bot works the same with Missing images
(http://tools.wikimedia.de/~magnus/missing_images.php).
If the same article in other language have image, the bot ask if it can
put image in local wiki.
leonardo.

It can be good, if interwiki bot can logs to file all pages locked because of some spamlink.
