Hello @jayvdb ,
Please add in more on what is expected to be done for this task?
Presently, I have added import functionality in pywikibot/page.py and i'm unable to progress further on how to add them in the above mentioned scripts.

Great, I look forward to reviewing your application

I'm already working on https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T69000, and though I have an assignment due tonight and at least four hours of classes tomorrow, I'll do as much as I can possibly do to have my proposal accepted!
I've replied to your questions at T69000: Flow: failed API call doesn't provide exception message <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T69000>.

@happy5214 , could you do a very basic proposal to get it 'in', with at least links to your existing Python and PHP work (e.g. gerrit, github account, etc). This should take you 30 mins max to register in melange.
You can then continue to expand your proposal (in your Phabricator task) as time allows, up until we make a final decision.

XZise added projects: pywikibot-core, Pywikibot-Cosmetic-changes.

TASK DESCRIPTION
At the end of the text the cosmetic changes script is adding unnecessary newlines:
```
python pwb.py cosmetic_changes.py -ns:0 -family:wiktionary -lang:cs -start:\! -summary:"cc" -simulate
ATTENTION: You can run this script as a stand-alone for testing purposes.
However, the changes that are made are only minor, and other users
might get angry if you fill the version histories and watchlists with such
irrelevant changes. Some wikis prohibit stand-alone running.
Do you really want to continue? ([y]es, [N]o) y
Do you want to accept these changes? ([y]es, [N]o, [a]ll, [q]uit)
It seems that `textlib.replaceLanguageLinks` is causing this so maybe it's not a cosmetic changes related problem but more general.
I cant see any tests for subpages, so even if it works in core, we still need tests created for this.
\o/ thanks for volunteering :) It'll be great to have a significantly more active Flow dev mentoring. And I'll always be around on IRC to help as well :)
