Summary: archivebot.py not working on dewikinews
Initial Comment:
As the title says, archivebot.py is not working on dewikinews, without an error message. Using verbose output (adding import wikipedia; wikipedia.verbose = 1) you can see that it doesn't even try to change pages, although there are changes that need to be done (I've added that as attachment, the output goes on like the last two for all pages out of http://de.wikinews.org/wiki/Spezial:Linkliste/Vorlage:Autoarchiv and exits then). The script is running on the toolserver,

Message:
I guess from the German keywords in
http://de.wikinews.org/wiki/Vorlage:Autoarchiv that are not part of the
framework, you may use an individual code. If so, please try to rewrite the
template keywords to original English parameters on some talk pages, and
run the official distribution to see if it works. Individually modified
scripts are not in the scope of Pywiki team.

This is not about Russian titles. It clearly states: title for namespace
104 in language ru unknown. Make sure you update the whole distribution,
not only root directory of Pywikipedia. Check the directory /families for
wikipedia_family.py. Is it later then Mon Feb 13 10:02:32 2012 UTC?

Summary: replace.by and one-by-one modification
Initial Comment:
When the robots need to make multiple modification in a one page, it do it all.
But, in some case, some modifications not need to be done.
So add a new parametre as "-single" to tell each modification to be done in a page

Message:
Replace.py calls replaceExcept() from textlib.py, but the confirmation of
replacements offered by textlib.py takes place in replace.py. Therefore it
would be very difficult.
But there is a way to do that with a very small programming. Please have a
look at
http://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Szerkeszt%C5%91:Bin%C3%A1ris/Fixes_and_functio…,
where the first example is your friend. With a minimal rewrite of it you
may confirm each modification separately. I think this is much simpler than
rewrite both replace.py and textlib.py.
Is that an appropriate solution for your peoblem?

Hi David,
by the time it will be solved within textlib.py (it has the replaceExcept()
function), I warmly suggest you this tutorial that I wrote recently:

Your problem is solved there. Have fun!

Summary: category.py -- page history to talkpage + translations
Initial Comment:
Page histories are always thought very important in Wikipedia. When moving an old category to a new one, category.py currently only writes "Authors" to the edit comment. But we have the possibility to easily write a version history table to the talk page, and this is a usual procedure when we move something e. g. from Wikipedia to Wikisource. In the attached file you will find my updated version of class CategoryMoveRobot. This is not as rich as the original history, but better then the current solution. You may see a demo at http://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kateg%C3%B3riavita:Ideiglenes_teszt (after two renames, to and backwards).
There ara also several Hungarian message translations in the file. Sorry, I cannot make a diff, this one is modified from current version 8457.
