What's the point of having empty pages? This can be fixed by either
* Removing the empty page check and just add the interwiki
* Check if the starting page is empty and skip it

Running interwiki.py with cosmetic_changes, wikipedia.Page raises an Error "Can't have an empty self-link". I found this error on the page [http://wuu.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%90%84%E5%8F%AA%E8%A8%80%E8%AF%9D%E7%BB%B4…] and I fixed the correspondig link [http://wuu.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%E5%90%84%E5%8F%AA%E8%A8%80%E8%A…]. However it would be better to install an exception error handling for this matter.

I changed my settings to:
use_api_login = False
2 days ago and had no more problems whatsoever.
I don't know if this is a Pywikipedia's (still, it should behave better)
or MW API's problem.

in your user_config.py
This may be only a work-around (and I haven't test it) and the bug
remains. But I've found login via api isn't as stable as requested an I
don't use it.
