I'm confused: what gallery viewer? I only see the standard gallery mode on that page. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Images#Rendering_a_gallery_of_images The trailing # suggests that maybe you're talking of a JavaScript gadget, perhaps https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Slideshow?
