Greetings!
I hope you're well and enjoying the start of the holiday season!
We'd like to invite you to join this week's roundtable discussion on Multimedia, this Wednesday, 4 December, at 18:00 UTC (10:00 am PST).
This two-hour video conference will involve up to 10 community members, along with WMF team members -- and will be hosted over Google Hangouts. Together, we will discuss a proposed vision for multimedia on our sites by 2016. We will then focus on several new projects we're working on: media viewer, file feedback, new video formats and campaign tools. We're looking to you for guidance about these new features.
We have a few seats left for this roundtable and would be grateful if you would join our discussion, so we can learn from your experience in this field. To sign up, simply respond to me by email (fflorin-at-wikimedia-dot-org) -- and/or add your name here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Roundtables/Roundtable_5#Sign_Up
To learn more, here's an overview of last week's roundtable: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Roundtables/Roundtable_4
This page includes links to slides, videos and our shared notepad for that roundtable -- and we'll be adding more notes and highlights in coming days. Kudos to all the community members who shared their insights during this fascinating discussion!
Thanks for your consideration. I hope to speak with you soon, so we can plan our next steps with your help. :)
All the best,
Fabrice
