I am pleased to announce that the Community Tech <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Tech> team at WMF has posted our August update <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Tech/Ebook_Export_Improvement#Aug…> on the Wikisource Ebook Export Improvement project! This project came out of our 2020 Community Wishlist Survey <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Wishlist_Survey_2020>, and it was the #1 wish <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Wishlist_Survey_2020/Wikisource/I…> voted on by survey participants. So, what does this mean? In short, *we want your feedback! <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Community_Tech/Ebook_Export_Improvemen…>* Now that we have posted the August update, we want to know what you think. The update includes findings from our community consultation, results from two separate analyses conducted by the team (on improving WSExport reliability & font rendering support), and proposed next steps. It is our hope that people can read our analysis, share their feedback, and engage in a conversation with us on the talk page. Your feedback will be invaluable, and it will help determine the next steps of the project. Thank you to everyone who has participated in the consultation so far! Pagelist Widget - First Iteration Feedback

Hello everyone, I am pleased to announce that Wikisource Pagelist Widget <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikisource_Pagelist_Widget> is now available on Beta Wikisource. We need your help in testing the widget and providing feedback. You can test the widget by editing the following Index page on Beta Wikisource: https://en.wikisource.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Index:War_and_Peace.djvu There is a new ‘Preview pagelist’ button under the pagelist field. Click it to get a preview, and then click on any page number in the preview to open the widget. You can also create a fresh Index Page for any other PDF or DjVu from Wikimedia Commons and test it. We need your feedback on the following questions: - What is your general opinion about the Pagelist Widget? - Is it obvious how to use the widget? If not, what is difficult to understand? - What other changes would you like to suggest in order to improve the widget further? Please provide your feedback on the Project Talk Page on Meta-Wiki <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Wikisource_Pagelist_Widget>.
