Dear members of the Wikipedia & Education User group,
It's been two years since the Wikipedia & Education User group was
founded and the time has flied by. We did a lot of things and there were
a lot of things that we wanted to do, but didn't.
Now it's time to refresh our board. Namely, according to our By-laws
[1], board members have a term of two years, meaning our terms end on
October 2. Also, according to our By-laws, we are supposed to hold a
General Assembly meetings annually, so this is the perfect time for that.
Therefore, I hereby invite all user group members [2] to the General
Assembly online meeting, that will take place on October 1, 2020
starting at 4 PM UTC. The link for the meeting will be provided at a
later time. At the meeting, we will present a two year activity report
and hold elections for board members.
If you want to put yourself up for election as a board member, please
apply by sending me an email off-list with your full name and a brief
statement on why you think you should be a board member.
I hope to see as many members as possible on October 1.
Until then, take care,
Filip Maljković
