Following the success of last year's edition, we're proud to remind you that the campaign resulted in 5,555 new articles and 1,766 improved articles in 18 participating languages.
We're currently organizing this year's campaign, and your involvement will be pivotal in shaping its success. I'm reaching out to inquire whether you're planning to organize a local event and to provide you with vital information.
== Save the Date! ==
This year, the campaign will run from September 1st to December 31st, 2024. Mark your calendars, because together, we will make a remarkable impact!
== Grant Request ==
If you're considering organizing a local event, you can apply for a grant from the Wikimedia Foundation before June 1st, 2024 (cycle 6 of rapid grants) or by September 1st, 2024. Remember if you apply in the second, September, cycle, you will only get the grant money after the contest has started.
To facilitate a smooth and comprehensive grant application process, we've prepared this grant request template. Please refrain from replying to this email. If you're ready to submit your grant application, kindly fill out the Fluxx form.
The WLW team will host three office hours in different languages to assist with the grant application process. Stay tuned via our social media platforms for more details.
