Yes, that's a good suggestion. The nice thing is that such improvements to the interface on a per type level should be reasonably easy to implement (famous last words).
Also, note, we fully expect this interface to be rewritten at least once and maybe even twice, and are planning accordingly. So having more ideas and suggestions is definitely helpful, both now and after implementation.
