It's not the script that has dialectal variations, it would be the
language it's transcribing.

FWIW, all Indic abugidas have neat 1-to-1 correspondences, with a few
exceptions, and some letters missing (for example Oriya has both WA
and VA, all others do not differentiate and use a single character for
both), so it should be quite simple to convert between Konknni in
Kannada script, Konknni in Devanagri script, and Konknni in Malayalam
script.

Roman and Nastalegh would pose additional issues though.
