That argument is AFAIK esentially a non-starter.  It's easy to get punctuation wrong, too; we don't dispense with it because of that.  We go through and correct it.

What exactly are you proposing?  That [[apocalypse now]] and [[Apocalypse Now]] lead to the same place?
