I don't see what's wrong with judging people on their actual edits, 
using the principle of assume good faith.  If someone is a devoutly 
fundamentalist Christian, but is able to edit Christianity-related 
articles neutrally and discuss reasonably with other editors, I see no 
reason to bar them.
