BS, the reason that it wasnt moved was because there wasnt consensus to do
so. There where several conflicting ideas, and at least 4 different
channels proposed. Yeah someone decided to push a change to a repo, doesnt
mean the chance will ever be pushed live. Making a change to the channel is
easy, regardless to how broken the code is.

Not true, we even had a patch merged to move it to #wikimedia-dev (it's
still in the old wikibugs repo). It's just that the old wikibugs was so
broken that no one was able/willing to deploy it for months.
