Well proposing a nonstandard extension (like OGV, or worse one which
is 'standard' for propritary video) certantly won't help with user
confusion or branding...
How about filename.video.ogg as a compromise?
On the other hand, I still don't see a downside to using .ogv for Ogg
video formats, .oga for Ogg audio formats, and .ogg for uncategorized
stuff.
