Hi Servien!
I guess you're not wrong. Like Mark has already said,
the basic idea was to move only languages that are
absolutely uncontroversial to the "approved" page. I
thought with them one could most likely achieve some
progress. That progress has happened yesterday and our
new babies seem to be doing well ;-)
The message we got from our developers was pretty
clear: if we're asking them to create a new wiki it
must be 100% assured that is fully accepted by the
community and has good chances of prospering. I
believe Ladino, Neapolitan and Waray-Waray were the
right projects to end that month-long stagnation.
The next step would now be to have a closer look at
requests like the ones you're mentioning and see what
they might still be lacking in order to get a clear
"approved" status. I'd be happy if we could all
cooperate here in the next weeks and so bring a few
more healthy babies to life.
