Please could you tell us which are these slowest operations? Until the speed
problem is fixed it would be a good idea, I think, that everybody knows
which links he should _not_ klick. Maybe there is a lot goodwilled people
can do to (or better avoid) to keep Wikipedia at a reasonable speed.
I really worry that we may loose contributors...
