Hi Anthere. I read this naming policy a few months ago and registered
#wikipedia-fr and #wikipedia-de on behalf of those channels, and sent
memos to their existing channel contacts telling them of this. Would
you like me to set it over to you? Or just unregister them so you can
re-register them as you see fit?

Freenode is changing is channel naming policy.
The channel names beforehand #xx.wikipedia will be changed in #wikipedia-xx
Some people already reported that some of these channels (like the
spanish one) were already registered by unknown people... or people who
have left the projects.
If this is the case of your language channel, please do together agree
on a new owner, then please contact Fennec to make the change :
