This is incorrect. It is not "the" language
of Surinam. Only 120.000
are native speakers of this language. There are actually
MORE native speakers of Dutch (200.000)
Having
lived in Surinam for quite some time and having gone to school
there. Both Dutch and Sranan are used at school. And both are the
official language. Sarnami Hindoestani which you call: Carribean
Hindustani (150.000) is NOT an official language.
