Hi Shyamal,
Thanks for this brilliant suggestion. I have added this as measure of
success. Feel free to make relevant changes as soon as possible as it is
not considered appropriate to make changes to the Grant request once it is
open.

Satdeep Gill

Dear Satdeep and others,
May I suggest that the measures of success be slightly differently looked
at. For an event of this scale media impact and government-policy altering
opportunities are important. Getting tax-payer funded knowledge missions to
understand free licensing and getting them to participate would be a
worthwhile goal to set.
best wishes
Shyamal

engagement in the WCI2016 program needs to improve quite a lot. Please
start discussing about the event and also share your ideas about how the
conference should be held, mainly through this list. We have now several
channels being used for WCI discussions. (This mail list, metawiki, the
main India mail list, Facebook etc.). It will be much more effective and
stimulating if we all ensure a single channel for continued interactions.

activities and decision making.
